FSA FIGHTERS BEHIND THE (WAR) SCENES
In the ephemeral calm of their tents the guerrillas of the Free Syrian Army speak about themselves. Zakaria, emigrant in Lebanon, Mustafa, university student, Mohamed, career soldier and Karim driver of Jibleh are all militant of the FSA, ordinary people who are fighting to overthrow Assad regime. Daily they cross the labile border between Turkey and Syria to give support to their companions with the tacit complicity of the Turkish authorities. Many of them before the revolt believed in Assad, but now after they experienced the tortures of the regime they ask the world to provide arms to overthrow him before it's too late. Nell’effimera calma delle loro tende i guerriglieri del Free Syrian Army si raccontano. Zakaria, emigrante in Libano. Mustafa, studente universitario, Mohamed, militare di professione e Karim autista di Jibleh, sono tutti militanti del FSA, persone comuni che combattono per rovesciare il regime di Assad. Quotidianamente attraversano il labile confine che separa Turchia e Siria per dare man forte ai loro compagni con la tacita complicità delle autorità turche. Molti di loro prima dell’inizio della rivolta credevano in Assad, ma ora dopo aver vissuto sulla propria pelle le torture del regime, chiedono al mondo solo di fornirgli armi per rovesciare Assad prima che sia troppo tardi.
