She has been living in Brasil, Italy and the UK. She has a BA in History of Arts and a Master in Photography; she has been working as assistant photographer in Sicily, Thailand and India.
In 2011 she began working as a freelance photojournalist. She's a member of Matchbox Media Collective. She worked almost one year in the production of the crowdfunded documentary film Sandgrains about the local consequences of the European overfishing in Cape Verde.

Francesca ha vissuto in Brasile, Italia e Inghilterra. Dopo una laurea in Storia dell'arte e un master in Fotografia lavora come assistente fotografa tra Sicilia, Thailandia e India.
Dal 2011 inizia la sua esperienza di fotogiornalista indipendente. E' un membro di Matchbox Media Collective. Ha lavorato per quasi un anno per la realizzazione del documentario crowdfunded Sandgrains, sulle conseguenze sull'economia locale capoverdiana della pesca industriale europea.
